Lucas Heights Discovery Centre + Lunch

Lucas Heights is home to a 20-megawatt multi-purpose research reactor used for producing medical radioisotopes, scientific research, and industrial applications.  It is our only nuclear reactor and, among other major work, is crucial for producing radioisotopes used in over 10,000 patient treatments weekly in Australia.
